Sonic Academy Australia was founded in 2020 by a group of passionate audio engineers and music producers in Melbourne, Victoria. Recognizing a gap in the market for comprehensive and accessible online music production education, we set out to create a course that would empower aspiring musicians and producers to achieve their creative goals. From humble beginnings, operating out of a small studio in Sandringham, we have grown into a leading online music education platform, serving students across Australia and beyond.
Our initial focus was on providing training for Ableton Live, which quickly gained popularity. As we grew, we expanded our curriculum to include Logic Pro X, music theory, sound design, mixing, and mastering. We are committed to staying at the forefront of music production technology and techniques, ensuring that our students receive the most up-to-date and relevant education possible.

Lead Instructor & Music Producer
Anna is a multi-platinum selling music producer with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She has worked with top artists in the electronic music scene and is passionate about teaching and mentoring aspiring producers. Anna holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Melbourne and is a certified Ableton Live trainer.
Audio Engineer & Sound Designer
Ben is an experienced audio engineer and sound designer with a passion for creating innovative and inspiring sounds. He has worked on numerous film and television projects, as well as producing music for various artists. Ben holds a Diploma of Audio Engineering from SAE Institute and is proficient in a wide range of sound design tools and techniques.

Claire ensures the smooth operation of our courses and provides support to our students. With a background in education and a love for music, Claire is dedicated to helping students succeed in their music production journey.
